Play supported Balatro mods in your browser
The Mods area runs browser-ready packages in a separate modded client. Build your own library, browse shared versions, and use real player checks to see what has worked for others.
What Mods includes
Upload ZIP, Lua, Lovely, or JSON packages up to 30 MB, enable the combination you want, and launch it from your library.
The Shared Mods catalog lets players add packages shared by other users. Install counts and Works or Breaks checks help you decide what to test first.
Unlocking Mods
Mods access is a one-time $3 contribution. It includes the Mods library, shared catalog, separate modded save slot, and modded browser launch. Browser compatibility varies by package, so check player results before launching.
What stays separate
Modded play has its own save slot. It does not change normal saves, public leaderboards, Chips, quests, or achievements.
Browser limits
Lua and Lovely mods have the best chance of working. Native desktop code, unusual file access, or conflicting patches may fail. No catalog entry is a guarantee that every mod combination will work.

What modded play is for
The Mods area is for testing browser-ready Balatro mod packages in a separate modded client. It is intentionally separate from normal progression so a broken package does not affect normal leaderboards, Chips, quests, or achievements.
Mods can change menus, cards, art, scoring, and runtime behavior. Because of that, the site treats modded sessions as their own testing space.
Good testing habits
Use one mod first, launch to the main menu, then start a run and interact with the game. A package that reaches the menu but fails after clicking still needs a report.
When combining mods, add them one at a time. If a menu tab disappears or card text is missing, report the combination instead of only one package name.
What reports should include
Include the package file name, displayed mod name, version if shown, and the moment it failed. Missing card art, missing descriptions, broken settings tabs, and crashes after clicking are different problems and should be described separately.
